3D Printing Club

Bowdish 3D printing club is open to all students who want to learn how to CAD model objects on the computer and then use 3D printers to manufacture them.  

 

The club usually begins meeting in late winter where students learn the basics of CAD modeling and 3D printing.  After Spring Break, we begin meeting with a focus on our annual competition (early June) with other Central Valley middle schools.  The final competition last year was designing a custom 3D printed Lego car which was judged on design quality and speed as digitally measured on a Pinewood Derby track.
